Research interestsMy work falls into the disciplines of conservation science and planning, landscape ecology, and wildlife ecology. More specifically, I am interested in understanding how land use change and human use of protected areas affect the occurrence of species and the composition of wildlife communities. I believe a better understanding of these impacts can help us plan and manage human use of protected areas to benefit people and wildlife. I recently completed an M.S. in Ecology, and I am now a Ph.D. student in the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology at Colorado State University.
